The National Teen and Young Fatherhood Conference addresses issues facing 14-24 year old young fathers.
Powerful speakers and life-changing workshops focus on innovative teen fathers’ programming, proven parenting techniques, unique obstacles teen fathers face in education, legal issues, mental health and identifying employment resources.
There are eight workshops available, four each day. Participants will select two workshops each day — one morning, one afternoon.
Local, state and national organizations will introduce their innovative programs, share their techniques and provide resource networks.
This conference will not only begin serious dialogue about issues facing teen fathers, but discuss solutions. If you are an educator, counselor, social worker, health practitioner, or law enforcement, this conference is for you.
