MAKE A DONATION
This year marks a major milestone for Young Fathers of Central Florida as it celebrates 20 years of transforming lives through its fatherhood programs. To honor this legacy and expand its impact, the organization is launching a 20th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign with a goal of raising $100,000 to support new workshops, mentorships, and outreach initiatives.
The fundraiser will run from October 20, 2025, to December 1, 2025, featuring community events, donor spotlights, and stories from alumni dads.

Celebrating 20 Years of Impact: A Journey of Perseverance and Purpose
Twenty years ago, when I arrived in Florida from New York, I did not know a
single person. What I did have was a vision — to create a program that would empower young fathers to support their families, strengthen their relationships, and build better futures.
In those early days, many people discouraged me. They said the need was too great, the resources too limited, and the vision too ambitious. But I believed then, as I do now, that every father deserves the opportunity to be engaged, responsible, and successful — for himself, his children, and his community.
The road was not easy. There were moments of uncertainty, challenges in securing funding, and times when it seemed impossible to continue. Yet, through perseverance, faith, and the belief that our mission mattered, we pressed forward.
Today, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we reflect on how far we have come. What began as a single idea has grown into a thriving organization that has touched the lives of countless fathers and families. We have helped men find employment, rebuild relationships with their children, and restore hope in their futures.
This milestone is not just a celebration of time — it is a testament to resilience, community, and the power of believing in a purpose greater than oneself. As we look to the future, we invite our partners, supporters, and friends to join us in continuing this vital work. Together, we can ensure that the next generation of fathers receives the guidance, support, and opportunity they deserve.
